Randy Peterson joined Coastcom in March of 2004 as Vice President
of Sales to develop new business for the company's new family
of network edge products through an expanded sales organization
and also to build a strong network of Channel Partners to
sell the company's products. Randy has 30 plus years of experience
in Sales and Marketing in a number of senior positions with
major companies in a variety of technologies and over 20 years
of experience in Channel Sales and Marketing. Most recently
he was Vice President and General Manage for North America
Business Solutions of Navteq Corporation and spent 10 years
with Compaq Computer Corporation in Sales and Marketing during
their formative years. He has held a number of senior management
positions in start-up companies in Silicon Valley in the past
10 years. Randy is a Bachelor of Science graduate of Concordia
University in Montreal, Canada and began the first 10 years
of his career in telecommunications with Bell Canada and Canada
System Group. |

E. M. Buttner graduated
in 1951 from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Electrical Engineering. Before entering graduate
school, Mr. Buttner worked one year in the General Electric
Test Engineering Program and served two years with the Army
Signal Corps. He received a Masters in Business Administration
from Harvard University in 1956. He managed Scott-Buttner
Corporation from 1957 to 1967. Buttner Corporation purchased
Compath in 1970. It became a major U.S. telephone interconnect
company and was acquired by Alltel in 1983. Coastcom, also
purchased in 1970, quickly developed a niche in the T1 access
multiplexer business. In 1983, Mr. Buttner moved into his
present position as President and CEO. |
Rosemary Chang
Director

Dr. Rosemary Chang graduated from NYU with a BS in Applied
Mathematics. She holds an ScM and PhD in Applied Math from
Brown University. Her diverse background includes SGI Research
and Development, Control Data Corporation Technical Management,
and Sandia National Laboratory as a member of their technical
staff. Rosemary serves on the board of Trustees for the Society
of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Chang brings to
Coastcom over 22 years of experience in various industries
with a diverse background in Research and Development, software
product management, new product development, legacy product
maintenance, documentation, on the job training and, promoting
from within. |

Garrett Girvan graduated 1967, with a BS in Accounting from La Salle University. 1973, CPA, New York State. 1977, MBA Finance and International Business, New York University. Viacom Cable; 1982-1985, Division CFO, 1985-1989, Regional Operations VP, 1989-1995 Chief Operating Officer. 1998-2001, Chief Operating Officer, SoftNet Systems, Inc. Garrett was a Consultant to small and mid-size companies prior to joining Coastcom as CFO in 2007.
